Just read the latest circular stating that NUS mid-term break will be readjusted to a full week (9 days including weekends) from AY2006/07 instead of the ridiculous and pathetic 6 days (4 excluding weekend) now. Always confusing people when is odd week and when is even week after the mid-term break.

Tough luck for you NUS gals, except those continuing with honours, whom can enjoy one more year. But if you don't enjoy this, you don't suffer from the fee hike too. So it's not that bad. posted by caco3boy @ 6:35 pm

juz got off the phone with jingyu...guess it was good for me coz' i realli wanted to talk to somebody about all confusion in my head and i wanted to know tt she's alright~ glad that u are trying gal...and remember, we can always depend on bing to go get herself a husband rich enough to support the 3 of us! hahaha...40million bing...40million!!!

anyways...about tt confusion in my head. it's related to career plans. not sure if u guys know abt my beijing 2008 plan...but it's kind of a problem now coz' i wanna work in St. Regis Singapore (it's opening nxt yr). and i think i shld get more overseas experience...but the thing is...i'm not ready to detach myself from home again after i complete this course. like i told jy...i've been away frm my comfort zone for too long...juz wanna stay around longer. then again...i'm worried abt my future prospectives...-sigh- i'm one walking question mark.

mmm...tt was juz a lil update abt my current plans for the future. it all seems too near for comfort. reality is harsh...and we have indeed grown up. i think i'm making this entry sound kinda depressing. well...to end off with something i find rather assuming=)

on vday...the NUS biz fac was selling flowers to raise funds for their rag event. and a good fren asked if my bro would like to order any...and my bro took up on the offer. so...this fren of mine was telling me tt my bro's jr in back in rv would be doing the delivery for him. so when i saw my bro online...i told him about it. and he started rattling off at me about his slight disappointment in the delivery service. well, my bro's gf is currently a teacher in some sec sch. so my bro requested for the bouquet to be placed on her table in the staff room. quite sweet rite? imagine walking into the staff room den u see flowers on ur table when u know ur bf is abroad. BUT! apparently...the bouquet was delivered in a crocodile (i doubt it's lacoste) plastic bag. erh...and the delivery guy did not bother to take it outta the bag and he left everything on the table. TOTALLY OFF. in any case...i thot it's quite funnie. was telling another fren tt luckily it wasn't our regular red-coloured pasat plastic bag. otherwise...i dun wanna imagine wad i would have gotten frm my bro. tsktsktsk...the point is. guys...pls do not give flowers to ur gfs in a plastic bag. a bit of embarrassment won't hurt =) posted by euphie @ 1:38 am

yay! finally noticed some activity on the tagboard. oh! i've been meaning to tell u ppl abt the McFlurry here in Switz...we have the option of M&Ms or this caramel thingy by the name of Daim. anyways...it's REALLY nice. when u eat the ice cream...there's like these crunchy bits to chew=) think i'll buy a pack home...blend it and then when we go to Macs...u guys can try. hahahahaha...-excited-
