aloha! as promised...the super duper long blog entry filled with images of yummy food! i think i shld start with the stuff i had at geneva=)

went to geneva a week ago...since it was the end of exams and we decided that we all deserved a break. so off we went in a cooL train...and apart from the shopping we did, we had PANINIs from a PANINI VAN! it's ubercool...check out the pics=)
pardon the horrid shot of my half-eaten panini. wanted to show the ingredients in an appetizing manner but oh well...din seem to work out very well. anyways, it had ham, cheese and veg in it. yummilicious as the bread was really crispy on the outside and everything else inside was warm and unyucky-like=)


dinner that nite was icecream at MÖVENPICK again. this time around, eups tried the BANANA SPLIT. whipped cream seems to be free in Switz...my ice cream was surrounded by whipped cream. anyways, din realli like the banana very much...dunoe y but it's not as nice as del monte bananas. ice cream itself was good...come on, it's mövenpick...how bad can it get right?~

check out what we're holding! instant mee siam sauce! darling zhing (middle) brought it with her from Singapore...and amidst my really stressful preparation for my projects, she and xin cooked it for all of us=) was quite tasty...although lagging something rather obviously, 'cept i cannot pinpoint the exact name of the ingredient. will upload pic of final product in due time...is with xin.

dinner @ au parc again was rather disappointing. had my regular bruschetta, which turned out to be not as tasty as it did last time. am very sure they changed chefs. CALZONE is definitely not as yummy as the one i had at molino's. actually took a photo of the insides...but think it looks like some photo of an operation..quite grossed out. so am not posting it up.

dinner @ Kwong Ming (aka where i did my 1st internship) was quite good...AS USUAL=) yanti commented that the 酸辣汤 was really good that nite. i thot it's a tad salty...not sour and spicy enough. din mention though...coz' since everybody thot the same, i'm quite a sheep.


here's the maincourse! we have Carnard Croustillant, which is basically 香酥鸭 eaten as u would eat Peking Duck, with crepe, 海鲜酱, cucumber and leek. in a clockwise motion, tt's veg. nothing much to comment on tt. 'cept I MISS BEAN SPROUTS!!! the nxt dish is Poulet Sautée au Basilic, which is also 川椒鸡. ah lun makes the best chickadee...but a pity he was on leave. anyways...din taste the basil at all despite them being all over the plate. quite disappointing. den there's the noodles, which was basically like the veg + noodles + prawns.

din take pics of dessert...but yeap, had my favourite Pommes Caramelisées, which is basically fried apples...coated with caramel and served with vanilla ice cream=) will take a pic the nxt time i eat tt thing... posted by euphie @ 10:19 pm
