well actually...i dunoe if it's a luncheon or a dinner. in any case...down to the commentary. the above shows...CHICKEN WINGS AND CORN!!!! the must-haves at a BBQ. corn NICE.....chicken wings NICE too!!! and for once, somebody marinated the food without dumping all the available sauces in (yeah, tt's me if u're wondering). so apparently, Boss used garlic, chicken stock erh...oh no, i forgot. but yeah, they were yummilicious! mmmmmmmm.....so sedap~
alright. i know most of u HATE this thing. but it's reallllllly good. can't identify it? BRINJALS!! -imagines groans of disgust- i've been wanting to try this...maybe i cld get mummie to try it someday. or maybe when i do another BBQ at home...we cld have this! a sprinkle of salt and voila. yummy slimy brinjals=) hahahaha...did i gross ALL OF U OUT?! but seriously...i had a lot tt day. Boss was saying i got good appetite. mwahhaha...so paiseh. oh! i din take photos of the brochettes. well, the idea is the same as satay...but know how our satay is rather sweet?! those we had were the salty versions. nice and fresh though...still yummy=) right. end of incoherent post.

yesterday, eups went to Geneva with tania...met her fren who treated us to dinner at THIS place.
mwahahhahaha...LUCKY! but well, coz' it was my first time meeting the guy...not v nice to order too much and eat machiam like a babi. so shared THIS. with tania. the name is...erh, i cant remember wad it's called...but basically, it's fruit curry with rice. no. dun give me that disgusted face. it's actually quite nice...'cept we asians may not like it v much coz' it's not the conventional curry. not at all spicy. fruits weren't sour...think there were slices of banana, kiwi, mango...tt's wad i had at least. think there was pork too...though tania told me it's chicken. too chewy to be chicken. nevertheless...wasnt too bad.
need to commend them on the rice. havent had such well-done rice in a long time...(excluding time spent at home). not many in Switz can cook rice to the right consistency. -applauds chefs-
after the main course...cldnt resist it when tania's fren (i cant even remember his name! i know his middle name is Anthony Daniel or something) asked if i wanted dessert! come on man...we're at MÖVENPICK!!! HOW CAN WE NOT HAVE ICE CREAM?!!! so THIS was wad i ordered. the name's CARAMELISÉE if i'm not wrong. maple walnut ice cream with caramelised pecan and lots of yucky cream, which i did not consume. imagine the mess on my plate when i was done=)
was stuffed when i finished the entire thing. and THIS is the small portion. the normal one has 3 scoops of ice cream. KILLER! anyway...hope u guys like the pics=) i actually took a bite outta the ice cream b4 i remembered i had to take the pic. thus the slightly outta shape scoop on the left. mwahahhaha...till nxt time!

bon jour tout le monde! eups is back to blog...but this time, abt her sch food and stuff she eats when in switz. am not gg to be posting pics up as i mentioned...so to view the makan i'm talking abt, check out the flickr badge at the side bar=)
right. for a start, abt brunch. my regular brunch in sch is a lot betta than my normal breakfast back home. it's also the best meal every week...and even though it's the same few things all the time, it's a MUST-EAT meal during the weekends. so...nothing much to describe abt scrambled eggs and sausages...'cept the scrambled eggs can be REALLY dry sometimes. blame it on the students. argh.
dinner on fri was at beijing town. will post pics nxt time...it's my regular chinese eatery. dinner on sat...was at Molino's. see tt curry puff looking thing? it's called a Calzone. BIG beyond belief. this calzone has tomato, ham, cheese and basil. so...v normal taste...u can imagine it yeah?
ran outta things to say for now. do blog gals!!!! i miss home food=)
